Chris has been practicing dental hygiene for 33 years and here at EDG for 17 years. She loves caring for her patient’s needs, educating them on their oral health and getting to know them all individually whether an established or new patient. She likes traveling/day tripping with her husband and spending time with friends, her two daughters in their 20’s, and her golden retriever puppy, Finley.

Sarah has been a Dental Hygienist for 4 years. She cares greatly about patient care and values. She loves educating on the science of oral hygiene, how to floss like a boss, and her priority is making sure patients feel comfortable in the chair. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and friends, and enjoying the outdoors.

Nicole is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from Goodwin’s Dental Hygiene program in 2019 at the top of her class and has a passion to make people feel confident about their smiles. She loves to be outside whether it’s hiking with her dog, on her boat or just hammocking in the woods somewhere. Can’t wait to meet you!

Sue attended A.I. Prince post graduate where she received her degree in Dental Assisting. She has been a CDA for 37 years now. She enjoys family time, as she has been married for 33 years and has two grown children. She loves to read, workout, walk, ski, and relax at the beach. Sue enjoys assisting because she can make a difference in her patient’s life and educate them so that they have the best dental experience possible.

Melanie became a dental assistant not only because it interested her, but because she loves helping others. Building relationships with patients and making them feel comfortable is her main focus. She hopes to make an impact on the lives of others. When Melanie isn’t in the office, she enjoys quality time with her loved ones, going out to eat at restaurants and trying new foods.

Yari is the newest member of our assistant team! Yari brings a unique blend of warmth and expertise, having recently moved to Connecticut. She celebrated her wedding in the beautiful Dominican Republic where she has family roots. Her passion for assisting stems from her genuine desire to make people feel comfortable and cared for while they are in the chair. Yari’s warmth is sure to enhance the experience for everyone she helps.

Kate has over 11 years of experience in the dental field where she started as a Patient Care Coordinator. It was then that she developed a talent for working with dental insurance companies. She enjoys helping patients navigate the sometimes confusing world of insurance benefits and claims. Kate has been married for 10 years and has three amazing children and her family is always on adventures exploring all that the area has to offer. She is an avid reader and has a passion for cooking.

With four children and a loving husband, she values the importance of family and is committed to providing the most personalized care to each of your family members.

Stephanie relocated to Connecticut from her hometown in Oregon, a quaint farming community where she spent her childhood. She has over three decades of diverse customer service roles and enjoys connecting with people and brightening their day with a warm smile. Married for 26 years, Stephanie and her husband are proud parents of two grown children. She enjoys hearing people’s stories, reading, and recently, discovering walking paths to explore alongside her beloved Goldendoodle.

Melissa joined the practice in July 2024, bringing with her a wealth of experience from multiple administrative roles within a dental office. She has quickly established herself as a great leader, fostering a supportive and efficient team environment while maintaining a deep commitment to her patients’ care. Outside of work, Melissa enjoys spending her days off with her husband, five grandchildren, and two dogs at the campground, creating cherished memories in the great outdoors. Her dedication both in and out of the office makes her a valued member of the team.
